Closest to Sun on 2019 April 26 at 5.78AU.
Maximum magnitude 11 during superoutbursts
Orbital period: 14.88 years
Is a remote Centaur, located about 5.9AU from the Sun, one of the most fascinating objects in the Solar system.
Although distant, this is a well known regular outbursting comet
The comet experienced a cryovolcanic super-outburst on 2022 September 25th,
such that in November 2022, the comet was still of 10th magnitude!
This is one the most distant comets observable in a telescope.
